Thanks for this post. While I think "hugging face" is cute, I agree we need a better representation of a hug.
I should note that the Chrome and Gmail for my Android 9 device display many characters in your post and email message as "notdef" boxes with an "X" inside. I'll check later today whether the situation is better in the current Chrome for Windows 10. (Maybe this is a sign I need a new phone? Do Android 10 and 11 have better Unicode support?)
